Why This Matters
Listeria can make people very sick, especially if you are pregnant, older, or have a weakened immune system. It can also survive and grow at refrigerator temperatures, which is why produce recalls deserve quick action. CDC+1
What To Do Right Now
Do not eat the recalled fruit. When in doubt, throw it out.
Refunds: Return to the store for a refund or dispose of it safely.
Company contact for questions: Wholesale Produce Supply, Steve Foster, VP of Food Safety & QA, (612) 378-2025 and SFOSTER@WPSFRESH.COM.
Clean and sanitize any shelves, drawers, knives, cutting boards, and containers the fruit touched.
Wash with hot, soapy water.
Then sanitize with 1 tablespoon liquid chlorine bleach per 1 gallon of water. Dry with clean paper towels or a clean cloth. CDC Cleaning Tips
If you are high risk and ate the recalled fruit and feel unwell, contact your healthcare provider. Listeria symptoms can include fever, headache, stiff neck, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Symptoms usually start within 2 weeks of eating contaminated food, but can begin the same day or up to 10 weeks later.

Notes
Recalled is not a government service. I translate FDA and CDC notices into clear, everyday language. I work hard to be accurate and current, but errors or delays are possible. Always check the official FDA page before taking action.
